Our Home Buyers Protection Premium Insurance offers increased levels of cover on top of our standard Home Buyers Protection Insurance, as well as providing additional cover to keep your finances secure in the unfortunate event of your property transaction failing.

Increased Cover

Home Buyers Protection Premium offers increased cover over our standard Home Buyers Protection Insurance.

£1,500 Conveyancing Fees

Conveyancing fees are applicable with all house purchases, and the cost of conveyancing can be substantial. That’s why we’re offering double the amount of protection in our Premium Insurance than our standard Home Buyers Protection Insurance, at £1,500 cover.

£750 Surveys & Valuations Fees

We are offering an increased level of Surveys and valuations fees as part of our Home Buyers Protection Premium insurance, at £750 cover. The cost of surveys and valuations of your property can be costly, and we want to give our customers the best chance of keeping their money safe.

£250 Mortgage Lender Fees

Mortgage lender fees can still be applicable in events where a property purchase falls through, and our Home Buyers Protection Insurance provides that essential cover for you. Both levels of home buyers’ protection insurance offer £250 in mortgage lender fees.

180 days cover

The length of cover has been set at the increased duration on 180 days as standard as part of our Home Buyers Protection Premium Insurance, giving you the largest window available in the event that your property purchase takes a lengthy amount of time.

Additional Cover

Home Buyers Protection Premium offers the following additional levels of cover over our standard Home Buyers Protection Insurance.

£300 Accommodation & Storage

This insurance even covers costs attributed to accommodation and storage. If the purchase failure has forced you to seek alternative living arrangements, and you have incurred costs on temporary accommodation such as a hotel, B&B, or short-term rental accommodation, then the policy will provide financial relief up to £300 cover. This also applies to storage costs, meaning that if you have had to move your furniture into temporary storage because of your house purchase falling through, you will be able to claim back £300 of the cost.

£200 Mortgage Broker Fees

It is common for mortgage brokers to charge a fee for their service when you purchase a property, and unfortunately this can also mean paying a fee if your property purchase falls through. Although most mortgage broker fees are paid on completion of a property, there are small costs that may be charged regardless of whether the property transaction goes through or not. Because of this we have included up to £200 in cover against mortgage broker fees as part of our Home Buyers Protection Premium Insurance, giving you, the homebuyer, that added level of cover should the purchase of your property fail when it’s not your fault.
